As of fall, I am leaving for Bertelsmann and Berlin after a great decade at Burda and DLD!
I got appointed as Executive Vice President Digital Development and Partnerships and my new role will be to strengthen Bertelsmann’s presence in the relevant forums and networks, scout promising businesses and possible collaborations for Bertelsmann in the digital domain, as well as support the Group’s overall digital development. Bertelsmann (19 bn USD revenues) is active in various media (RTL incl. Freemantle, Random House, G&J), services (Arvato) as well as new businesses and funds (BMG, University Ventures, BDMI, BAI). I am very much looking forward to this new exciting professional chapter and to join Thomas Hesse as well as to work with the new colleagues.
I am very grateful for the people I had the chance to get to know over the last ten years as well as the projects, brands, investments and companies I could work on. My special thanks is to Hubert Burda and Paul Bernhard Kallen for whom I had the privilege to work for as well as to Steffi Czerny, my partner and friend with whom I co-founded and built DLD. I also thank Yossi Vardi as DLD Co-Chair, the wonderful DLD team, partners, speakers and all DLD friends as well as Burda colleagues. And I hope, I can be helpful to DLD and DLD friends also in the future.
Keep in touch!
